Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios have shared a first look and trailer for Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, the new multi-part animated film event.

Last year, we got word that Warner Bros. Animation, DC, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment were developing a multi-part animated adaptation of the acclaimed Batman '90s comic book storyline that introduced Bane, Knightfall, and the movie will have its world premiere during France’s Annecy Animation Festival this week.

Knightfall animated movie has been revealed, featuring the Caped Crusader, Bane, Mr. Freeze, a glimpse of the (mostly) heroic Azrael, and the three-parter's logo.

The Caped Crusader finally returns in 2026.

Batman: Caped Crusader, Prime Video’s quasi-spiritual successor to the beloved Batman: The Animated Series, dropped the first trailer for its second season today, and it shows off a somehow even darker tone than the series’ grim first outing.
