The last few days we've had some incredible activity from the Prehistoric Broadnose Sevengill shark! Also known as a Cow shark these sharks get their name form having seven gill slit openings, while most sharks only have five! Sevengill sharks can live closer to 50 years, and reach the length of three meters! As one off many sharks species they are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN Redlist.
